Installing and Uninstalling Programs

Never  just delete a programs folder, this will get rid of most of the files, but if it put files within the system, those will still be there, and you could get error messages on boot-up, because the registry is still looking for the folder you deleted..

You should first go to My Computer, Then to Control Panel, then to Add/Remove programs, look in there and see if your program is listed.

If its listed, click on it to highlight it, then click on the button below that says Add/Remove.,

This will bring up your uninstall wizard, which will uninstall the program.

One thing that may come up as your uninstalling, is a message telling you that a file may be sharing with another program, do you want to delete it, if your not 100% sure what this file is, DO NOT DELETE IT. Tell it no you do not want it deleted..

As For installing most programs, on win95 or win98, win Me, win2000, Most Programs that are on CD, usually auto run..

So if you agree with everything you shouldn't have any problems installing the program...

One thing you should do is disable any anti-virus program while installing ,sometimes those tend to not want to let you install.....
